Just a quick note to let everybody know that our Spring Harvest Anxi Tie Guan Yin Oolong shipped this week.  I hope to have it here & available on the website by early next week if not sooner.

In other Oolong news, our Spring Harvest Alishan oolong has been delayed by about 10 or so extra days.  The batch we received had amazing aroma, but the mouthfeel and flavor were not quite right.  I have asked for a re-do on the roast to balance out the flavor and aroma a little bit more, and I expect the new batch of tea to ship by the end of next week.  I am sorry for the delay, but I want to make sure this tea is exactly the same quality that our customers have come to expect from our Alishan teas.

Last, the 13 new teas from my visit to Yunnan in late April/early May have arrived, and I am busily taking photos and getting them ready for sale on the website.  Barring any technical difficulties, I should have most of them posted by this weekend or early next week. 

The 13 new teas include:
-Meng Ding Huang Ya - a yellow buds tea from Meng Ding mountain in Sichuan (my current favorite green tea...bordering on obsession, actually)
-Two new traditional Yunnan Green teas that will blow your mind
-Two crafted Yunnan white teas...beautiful and delicious
-Two styles of naturally scented Jasmine green tea (no flavoring oils or sprays...all aroma and flavor from fresh jasmine flowers)
-Two types of new loose Pu-Erh "Mao Cha" from two very different growing regions: Nan Nuo & Wu Liang
-a great all bud first flush Spring Black Tea
-Sun Dried Pu-Erh White Buds from Yong De County...from the same growers that grew our 2007 "White Buds Pu-Erh" cakes
-A lovely loose, high grade (small leaves) ripe Pu-Erh from Lincang
-and last, a 5 year old compressed Ye Sheng (wild Camellia varietal) tea comprised of the leaves and buds of the Camellia varietal that is the source of our Ya Bao Wild White Tea.  Very interesting, almost lemony brew.

I'm very excited about the new Spring offerings, and can't wait for everyone to try them!
