I am very excited and lucky to have formed a partnership (and friendship) with a fantastic tea grower from the Alishan region of Taiwan to bring authentic 100% High Mountain Oolong tea to our customers.  The family we are working closely with for our Taiwanese products have 3 tea plantations in the Alishan region of Taiwan, and they produce some of the finest Alishan oolongs that I have ever had the pleasure of tasting. 

They will be providing excellent examples of High Mountain Oolong Teas from the Alishan (Mount Ali) Scenic Area in Taiwan.  Oolong tea is almost an obsession among the population in Taiwan, and tea grown in the higher elevation plantations on Alishan enjoys immense popularity throughout the region.  Local demand in Taiwan is always higher than the available supply of true High Mountain Oolong tea, so we are really lucky to be able to bring fresh, 100% high mountain oolong tea that has NOT been blended with tea grown at lower altitudes.

The growers have agreed to individually vaccum package all teas in 50 gram (1.76 oz) foil pouches (with a desiccant pouch in each for freshness) at the processing facility on Alishan.  We are shipping each foil pouch individually in resealable medium-high barrier stand up pouches so that you can store this precious Oolong sealed away from air and moisture and lock in the aroma after unsealing the vacuum pouch.  This will ensure the freshest High Mountain Oolong experience possible!
